There are many common excuses for cheating and a sure sign of a cheating spouse, find the time excuse is one of them.

It is important to remember that cheating is not your fault and though cheating is normally attributed to not be satisfied with something at home many times the actual cause is unknown.

Cheating is possible the number one reasons for divorces, though it does not necessarily mean the end of your marriage it is a very hurtful act that also involves trust as well.

Despite the fact that there is no excuse for cheating your spouse will use many excuses to justify their behavior. One of the top excuses you haven't found the time for... (Insert your phrase of choice), is frequently used though other excuses such as our marriage was already over, it's your entire fault, it's all my fault, the grass is greener and more.

No matter what the excuse you both probably had communication problems before hand so you can bet that what ever the excuse is it is not the real reason for the affair.

If you suspect your spouse is cheating there are some tell tale signs that are unmistakable. The first being that your sexual pattern has changed and your spouse is using excuses why he or she does not want to have sex.

They may also be changing their appearance and not want to spend time with your or your family. It is generally easier to determine if you husband is cheating then your wife as females tend to be more cautious and better at keeping secrets, though this does not apply to everyone.

Before making any accusations you need to have proof. You can get this proof yourself by checking up on your spouse if they are frequently working late, obtaining your spouses telephone records, using computer software to monitor their computer and online activity and just being aware of how your spouse's behavior has changed.

Many people want to trust their spouse but cheating happens and there are signs. Many of these types of "surveillance' can be done easily and without knowledge. It is much better to be safe then sorry in these instances.

Even though it may hurt, even more so then an excuse, it may be beneficial to try to uncover why your spouse is cheating. By talking you may actually be able to resolve some issues, if it is simply a sexual problem that has never been discussed then you may be able to cover some valuable ground. However after saying that if your spouse continues to cheat then there is a real problem that communication is not going to solve.
