I know a few friends that have gotten divorced because their wives had cheated on them. I was starting to get a little nervous about my own relationship, so I asked what signs they had seen before finding out.

My friends told me that there are many signs of a cheating wife please peruse this article and see if your other half is exhibiting these signs.

Signs of a Cheating Wife: Warning Signs

Withholding sex - A common theme amongst my friends was that she became disinterested in sex. It starts subtly, in the beginning so you don't really notice it. When you're a newlywed it's every night and then it slows down to a couple times a week and that's natural. You should get worried if you are able to go a few months without needing to clean the sheets.

They all said that right before they were told or found out about the affair that their wives had started dressing more revealingly for work. A lot of us men miss this subtle clue, but pay attention to little things like an extra button left undone, or skirts that seem to be getting shorter. When she's dressing up for the outside world and not for you there's a good indication that you may have reason to doubt her.

Phone calls - Look out for late-night "work" phone calls. This is especially true, if she has to take the call in another room or tries to hide her cell phone from you. I don't recommend eavesdropping, but heed the tone of the conversation; does it sound like an emergency has broken out, or is she laughing and joking. The former is likely a legitimate crisis requiring her attention, while the latter does not bode well for you.

Too busy for you - Speaking of work has your wife suddenly had to start working ridiculous amounts of over-time? If for the past two, five or ten years she has always left the office on time, but now is working 'til late, you are within your rights to worry. There will be some exceptions to this rule, but it became a cliched marker of adultery for a valid reason.

These are the signs of a cheating wife, according to my friends. There may be more, but for now these are what I am looking for.

I'm hoping that neither you nor me find any of these signs. No one should ever have to go through the feelings of betrayal, anger and depression that being cheated on causes.
